| 132 | The story in our family was that a rift was created (between Henry P. McCormack and his parents) when he fell in love and married Ethel Rebecca Davis (who was Irish and therefor not a suitable addition to an otherwise all Scottish family). This was related to me by my Aunts & Uncles (and Mother) as it was related to them (by their Mother, who experienced this first-hand). So I have to believe my sources, whether there's "paper" to back it up or not. Also, I may have copied this down wrong, but the picture you had of Ethel Davis (Grammy to me) was captioned "Ethel Rebecca Peacock McCormack 1892 to 1978"? That would not be accurate, as her maiden name was Davis - not Peacock (Jonh Michael McCormack's wife, Gertrude Angeline's, maiden name). Like I said, I no longer have to link to the Family Tree, so I may have copied it down wrong - my apologies for the correction if I did. | Davis, Ethel (P363)
